Emirates, one of the world's fastest-growing international airlines, marked the arrival of flight EK225, the first non-stop service of the airline between Dubai and San Francisco, at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) recently, said a press release.
At a media briefing after the arrival of the flight, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum was joined by San Francisco Mayor's Chief of Staff Steve Kava and San Francisco International Airport Director John Martin.
"Emirates promises Bay Area travellers and businessmen an opportunity to reach Dubai and key transit markets including-the Indian sub-continent and Africa easily and more quickly than ever before", the Emirates chairman said.
