Four concurrent international fairs start in Dhaka on Wednesday to exhibit textiles machinery, garment products, accessories, dyes, chemical and general machinery.
The four-day fairs will be organised by CEMS (Conference & Exhibition Management Services). Over 400 exhibitors from 26 countries will participate in the fairs.
The fair is expected to boost the exports of garment products and provide a platform for stakeholders to know about the latest technology under one roof, Meherun N Islam, president of CEMS USA and Asia Pacific, told a press conference at the National Press Club yesterday.
Commerce Minister Faruk Khan is scheduled to inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest.
The exhibition will be open to visitors every day from 10.30am to 7.30pm.
